- The Rock at Horeb |
|
|
Behold,
I will stand before thee
there upon the rock in
Horeb; and thou shalt
smite the rock, and
there shall come water
out of it, that the
people may drink. And
Moses did so in the
sight of the elders of
Israel.
.......EXODUS 17:6
Just
over the western side of
the mountain range,
opposite the Holy
Precinct, these is an
area which features an
incredible, five to
six-story rock perched
upon a hill that is

the pattern of water

that numerous streams
came forth in several
directions.

| While
exploring the site in
1985 with Samran and his
work crew, they found
very large wells, with
just a few inches
extending above the
ground. There was
a line of these which
extended along the lake
bordering the "holy
precinct". |
